WHAT TREATMENTS CAN WE EMPLOY?

1- Muscular Electrotherapy

Very frequently the hypertrophy (or lack of tone) of a muscle group in the thighs, gluteus or arms, determines or accentuates unaestheticism due to muscular flaccidity - tegumentary, resulting in it being called "false cellulite".
Hypertrophic muscular electrotherapy is based on the utilization of devices that obtain involuntary muscular contraction. Electrodes are applied through contact with the skin and are placed in motor points and transmit currents to the targeted muscles, producing the recruitment and training of the fibers and a posterior contraction.
This therapy does not replace active exercise, but when it is not easy for the patient to obtain the selective contraction of an undetermined muscle group, its use is justified when it is included as an associative therapy with other methodologies.

2- Mesotherapy

This method consists of the intradermal or subcutaneous administration of different homeopathic substances in small doses, through multiple injections, applied to the treatment zones.
Depending on the substance used, we can obtain different effects among which we can see: the activation of circulation, the stimulation of the lipolysis and the reaffirmation of the treated tissue.
The application of this treatment is done in 10 sessions, once a week lasting 15 minutes, although this also depends on the area treated. Subsequently, a follow-up dose is administered, generally every month. Complications are infrequent with the exception of post-injection itchiness and an occasional haematoma that disappear spontaneously. In some cases the substance can produce a minimal local allergic reaction, which can be relieved in a few days with proper treatment.

3- Subdermal Therapy or Endermology

This is a highly technological technique that, through a system of aspiration and two rollers, creates a deep massage to the skin and subcutaneous tissue. The turning and folding of the rollers affects the tissue and its capacity to improve cellulite and reaffirm the tissue while at the same time making it more terse, giving tone and firmness to the skin.

4- Transcutaneous Mesodermal Therapy

This is a new non-invasive form of penetrating substances through the skin based in the principle of electro-operation and electrophoresis. Electromagnetic waves transfer by way of a roll-on medium provoking a pleasant sensation, sliding over the surface of the skin. This technology permits the penetration of principle anti-cellulite and reaffirming actors. 15-20 sessions at a rate of 2 per week are usually necessary and monthly follow-up sessions are needed to maintain the effect.

5- Radiofrequency:

Through the energy from RF, a controlled heating effect is transmitted to the skin and the fat tissue, preserving the epidermis from thermal damage.
This heating method is due to the rotational movement of the water molecules in the alternate electromagnetic field while the electromagnetic wave corresponds to the resistance of the conduction of the current. Water molecules produce a mechanized effect (friction) that converts into heat. This provokes the thermal tension of the septic fibers, vacillation and drainage of fat deposits in the lymphatic system and induced cellular death in those fat cells through the heating process.
Through this controlled thermal damage and the retraction of the tissue there is an inflammatory reaction that is accompanied by the migration of the fibroblasts that reinforce the collagen structure, giving an improved outcome to the diminishing of the protrusions in the subdermal fat, and thus reaffirming skin tissues.

During the procedure the patient can experience a burning sensation or a small amount of pain that usually passes and is relieved within a few minutes. There is a certain amount of redness of the treated area that does disappear in a few hours, while burns are uncommon.

The number of sessions depends on the state of the patient, but usually 12 are necessary.
