PROCEDURE TO FOLLOW FOR NUTRIONAL STATUS ASSESSMENT
Nutritional status assessment of the individual is of descriptive importance and attempts to identify those subjects at risk of presenting some sort of nutritional problem (both deficit and excess alike), and thus reflect the health status of the individual at issue.
The procedure to follow includes:
Medical history
Physical exploration and anthropometrics
Laboratory data
Other explorations
